| Thursday April 2, 2026 7 to 9 p.m | Norwescon: Andi will present: aUI: The Language of Space Workshop aUI, the Language of Space, will be introduced and described: its background, purpose, and unique characteristics that set it apart from other created languages. Secondly, the basics of aUI will be taught. The audience will be challenged to memorize its 31 symbols, sounds, and meanings within the time it takes to briefly describe them. Then basic words and phrases will be practiced in an interactive session. aUI is built on a set of proposed universal semantic primes that all cultures, including extraterrestrial, might have in common. |
| Friday April 3, 2026 1 to 3 p.m | Norwescon: Andi will present: Teen & Tween: aUI, the Language of Space Workshop Come explore aUI, the Language of Space! Learn the theory and history of its symbols and practice sending and decoding messages in a workshop just for teens and tweens. |
| Saturday April 4, 2026 7 to 8 p.m | Norwescon: Andi will read from Ersatz Academy during Broad Universe Rapid-Fire Reading Community; Readings Cascade 7 & 8, Sat. 7 to 8 p.m. Join Broad Universe for a fun, fast-paced group reading to showcase the work of women and nonbinary authors who will read a short snippet from a recent work. Discover new writers, enjoy chocolate, and enter a drawing for a book, all while you support women and nonbinary people working in speculative fiction. Broad Universe is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to expand the awareness of and promote women and other underrepresented gender identities in science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
